A new version of my beautiful resin earrings, now as hoops! Two different sizes available and many colors to choose from!
Earrings are made by handmade round resin beads + reclaimed silver hook. The hook is designed to be trapped in order to avoid losses. Hoops could be finished silver matte or brushed black as you prefer. Resin beads are translucent or solid, you choose. All will be matte finished.
As they're handmade, beads are beautifully irregular, each of them unique.

*Materials, finish, and procedure
Resin
Reclaimed silver 950 (hooks)
Handmade beads by translucent or solid colored resin, on translucent beads light, goes through them beautifully, the solid ones are a bit sober and elegant. Reclaimed silver round wire is brushed matte finished. Edges burnished. The sterling wire is 1mm wide about 0.03 inches.
To make this earring I poured the resin into a mold then, once the resin is hard and dry enough I hand cut every bead to start to sand it and sand it, and sand it and polish each of them. You might take a look at my Instagram or my Flickr to see my process pictures.

Large hoops
Beads diameter 2.50 cm (0.98").
Hoops diameter 3 cm (1.181").
Hang 3.5 cm (1.37") total length.
Weight 3 grams each piece, so 6 grams for both earrings. (0.0066 pounds, 0.0132 pounds).
Small hoops
Beads diameter 1.60 cm (0.62").
Hoops diameter 2.40 cm (0.94").
Hang 3.5 cm (1.37") total length.
Weight 2 grams each piece, so 4. grams for both earrings. (0.0044 pounds, 0.0088 pounds).Hook made by hand, please consider it is made by default in round recycled silver wire 18 gauge around 1mm thick (0.03"), I use thick wire since silver is so weak that it bends and deforms rapidly. I don't recommend using a slim wire in this design, anyway if you prefer it, I can make the hook on a thinner wire, just select that option at checkout! Please consider I may need extra time for manufacturing thinner wire earrings since stock ones will not match this requirement.

As a "slow jeweler" I do not have a large inventory so, the piece you chose may need to be manufactured after purchase, the time provided when making the purchase indicates exclusively the shipping time not including manufacturing and/or processing times, all available jewelry will be shipped within a maximum of 3-5 business days.
Processing/manufacturing times vary according to the complexity of the design and manufacturing technique, most pieces require an estimated 5 business days, while those made in casting (lost-wax) require at least 8 business days plus shipping time.
